Welcome!

Founded in 1965 by Dr. Wachtang "Botso" Korisheli and staffed by conductors and coaches with extensive experience, the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony provides an excellent environment for young musicians to develop their skills through symphonic and chamber music training. The Youth Symphony is part of the San Luis Obispo Symphony's extensive Music Education program and it is the only opportunity between Santa Barbara and Monterey for school-age musicians to receive full orchestral training.

Enjoy a free dress rehearsal of the San Luis Obispo Symphony on Saturday, March 6th at 1 pm at the Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo.  Stay for as long or as little as you like - great way to introduce young children to classical music!
